Bizapedia is a business-records site. It publishes profiles of companies and trademarks, and a profile can name the people behind a business and list addresses, so if you ever registered an LLC at home, your home address may be on one.

Bizapedia has no opt-out page for people. Requests go through its general contact form, and that form is narrower than the word opt-out suggests: you can ask Bizapedia to hide the names and addresses on a company or trademark page, or to take down a company that is no longer active. There is no option to delete a record about you as a person.

Checked against Bizapedia's live contact form, Terms of Use, Pro Search page and privacy policy on October 20, 2026. We read the pages; we did not submit the form, so we can't show the validation email or Bizapedia's reply.

What the form lets you ask for

The form opens with Choose Reason. These are the options that matter for privacy:

  • Hide your company's private information from the general public. The form defines private information as names of people and addresses, nothing more.
  • Hide your trademark's private information, the same request for a trademark page.
  • Your company is dissolved, closed, converted or no longer active, and you want it removed from the site. Bizapedia says it will try to confirm that the government agency no longer makes the company's information available. If the agency still does, you can only ask for the private information to be hidden, and the company profile stays up.
  • A declaration for officials. Law enforcement and peace officers, members of the military, district attorneys, public defenders, and federal, state or administrative law judges can file a declaration to hide private information on their company's profile.
  • Outdated information, to have a profile refreshed to match the official record at the agency that publishes it.

How to file the request

  1. Find the company (or trademark) on Bizapedia and copy the page's URL. The form says the URL must match a company page in its system, so copy it from Bizapedia's own search rather than typing it.
  2. Open bizapedia.com/contact.aspx (the Contact Us link in the footer).
  3. Pick your reason.
  4. Enter your email address, first name and last name (middle name is optional), and paste the Company Page URL. The form has a matching Trademark Page URL field for trademark pages.
  5. Use Comments/Questions, which is required, to say exactly which names and addresses on the page you want hidden.
  6. Only if you own or represent the company today (see the declaration below): tick the box agreeing to the Terms of Use, read the declaration, and click Submit Request.
  7. Open the email Bizapedia sends. The form says the request has to be validated through your email account before customer service reviews it.

Read the declaration first

The form ends with a declaration, made under penalty of perjury and the laws of Nevada, that you are an owner or an authorized representative of the company, plus a promise to indemnify Bizapedia. The page notes that perjury is a category D felony in Nevada. The declaration sits in one Confirmation section with no note that any reason skips it.

So the form is built for owners and their representatives. If your name sits on a company you don't own or represent now, don't sign a declaration that isn't true. The fix then is at the source: the state filing the profile was built from.

What hiding does not do

  • The profile stays. Hiding covers names and addresses; the company page itself remains.
  • Paying subscribers still see it. Bizapedia's Pro Search page says subscribers can view every profile in full, even when the company has chosen to hide its private information.
  • Bizapedia can still share it. Section 9(d) of the Terms of Use, on claiming a profile, says the fields of a hidden profile remain accessible to Bizapedia and its paid subscribers, and that Bizapedia may disclose any of them to any person, organization or government agency without telling you.

Changing the source

Bizapedia's terms say company information reaches it from users and third parties, government agencies among them, and its form has an option to bring a profile in line with the agency's official record. If your home address is on the state filing itself, changing what is on file with the state is the step that changes the source. Ask your state's business filing office what it allows, then use the Outdated information option to ask Bizapedia to catch up.

How long does it take?

Bizapedia doesn't say. Neither the contact form nor the privacy policy gives a time frame. Keep the validation email and a screenshot of what you submitted, with the date, and check the page again later.

If it doesn't work

  • Use the contact form again. The privacy policy lists no privacy email, phone number or postal address; the contact form is the channel it points to.
  • No general deletion process is described. The privacy policy (effective May 23, 2026) describes no general deletion process, response time or rules for agents. Its only deletion promise covers information collected from children under 13.

Bizapedia is a business-records site, so it isn't one of the people-search sites in Defynta's free scan. Run the scan to see where your home address shows up on the sites we track.

Who runs Bizapedia. The privacy policy and terms name Bizapedia, LLC, and the terms say Nevada law governs; neither gives a street address. We did not find Bizapedia on California's data broker registry (searched October 20, 2026), so the state's DROP tool, which sends requests to registered brokers, is not a route here. File directly.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Bizapedia opt-out free?

The contact form asks for no payment and no account. It does need an email address you can open, because the request is validated there.

Can I delete my name from Bizapedia completely?

Not with the options on its form. You can ask to hide names and addresses on a company or trademark page, and to have a company removed once the government agency no longer publishes it.

Does hiding stop people seeing my address?

It hides it from the general public on that page. Bizapedia's own pages say Pro subscribers can still see the full profile, and its terms, in the section on claiming a profile, let it disclose hidden fields to anyone.
