Updated October 23, 2026. Nuwber.com is not loading, so its opt-out form at nuwber.com/removal/link can't be used right now. If a guide sends you to that link, it fails too.
What happened to Nuwber?
We don't know why, and we found no notice from Nuwber. What we saw on October 23, 2026: Google's public DNS service returned no address for nuwber.com or www.nuwber.com (it returned none on October 22 either). The domain still names Cloudflare as its DNS provider, but with no address a browser has nowhere to go. A browser showed only its own error page for nuwber.com and nuwber.com/removal/link, and our other attempts to open nuwber.com, nuwber.com/removal/link and nuwber.com/policy failed with a "not found" error.
Is Nuwber still a registered data broker?
Yes, on paper. When we checked on October 23, 2026, California's data broker registry still listed Nuwber Inc, nuwber.com, support@nuwber.com, 844-912-1292, 700 North Fairfax Street, Suite 614, Alexandria, VA 22314. Its link for consumer rights points to nuwber.com/policy, which doesn't load either.
What it means for you
- There is no Nuwber page to check and no form to file while the site is down.
- Email may still reach Nuwber. On October 23, 2026, nuwber.com still listed five Google mail servers in DNS, so a message to support@nuwber.com may be delivered. We haven't sent one, so we can't say whether anyone answers. If you write, say what you want removed and keep a copy.
- California residents can use DROP. Nuwber is still on the state registry, and registered brokers must check California's free DROP platform at least once every 45 days, starting August 1, 2026. See the California Delete Act guide.
- Old copies can linger in search results. If Google still shows a Nuwber page with your details, the page behind it no longer loads. Google's Refresh outdated content tool asks it to update the result.
- Your details may be on other sites. The people-search sites below publish name, phone and address records.
