PeopleSearchNow is a straightforward people-search site: name in, personal details out, home address, phone numbers, age, relatives, and address history, sourced from public records. It doesn't have the brand recognition of Whitepages or Spokeo, but its listings index well in search engines, which means it can be the page a stranger actually lands on when they google you.
The site runs a standard self-service opt-out with email confirmation. Here's the full walkthrough.

What is PeopleSearchNow?
PeopleSearchNow aggregates public and commercial records into free-to-preview listings:
- Full name, age, and aliases
- Current address and prior addresses
- Phone numbers
- Relatives and associates
As with most of the mid-tier people-search sites, the data itself is commodity, the same records circulating among dozens of brokers. That's worth internalizing: removing this listing is one move in a bigger game.
Before you start
- Have an email address you can check the same day. The removal form is behind an emailed link that expires after 24 hours. A disposable or masked address is a sensible choice, brokers have been known to treat contact as contact-list material.
- Open your listing first and note how your name, address and phone appear. The removal form should match the record.
- Note your name variants and past cities for the multi-record sweep at the end.
How to remove yourself from PeopleSearchNow, step by step
Step 1: Open the opt-out form
Go to peoplesearchnow.com/opt-out, the "People Search Now Opt-Out Form."
Step 2: Ask for the removal-form link
Choose whether you are the subject of the request or an authorized agent, enter your first and last name (middle name is optional) and email address, tick the certification box, and complete the CAPTCHA.
Step 3: Click the emailed link within 24 hours
PeopleSearchNow emails you a link to the removal form. It says the email may take some time to arrive, and that after 24 hours you'll need to request a new link.
Step 4: Fill in the form to match your record
Enter your details as they appear on the record you want removed.
Step 5: Keep the confirmation
You'll see a confirmation page and get a confirmation email.
Step 6: Sweep for more records
Search PeopleSearchNow again with middle initials, maiden names, old phone numbers, and previous cities. File a separate opt-out for each additional record.
How long does removal take?
PeopleSearchNow asks you to allow 3 days for the request to be fully processed. Check back after three days.
Verify the removal
In a private browsing window, search your name, then your phone number, then your address. All three lookup paths should come back empty of you. Anything remaining gets another pass.
Why your listing can come back
PeopleSearchNow periodically refreshes its database from public records. A refresh can rebuild your listing, most reliably after a move or number change, which generates records your original opt-out never matched.

Who runs PeopleSearchNow. California's data broker registry (read October 18, 2026) lists it among the websites of Mississippi Tornado Alley, LLC, together with AdvancedBackgroundChecks, CyberBackgroundChecks, FastBackgroundCheck, FastPeopleSearch, PhoneBooks.com, SearchPeopleFree, SmartBackgroundChecks, USA People Search and USPhoneBook. The ones we have guides for each have their own removal form, so file each one that lists you rather than counting on one removal to cover the rest. The registry entry says an opt-out of sale made on any of the company's sites applies across all of them, but it does not say a listing removed on one comes off the others.

Frequently asked questions
Is the PeopleSearchNow opt-out free?
Yes, free, no account required, about five minutes per record.
Should I use my real email?
Use an email you can actually open (the confirmation link is mandatory), but it doesn't have to be your primary one. A masked address keeps your main inbox out of broker systems.
The email with the form link hasn't arrived. What now?
Check spam. PeopleSearchNow says it may take some time to arrive. If it's still missing after an hour, request a new link, and try a different email provider if the problem repeats.
Does this remove me from sites with similar names?
No. "People Search"-branded sites abound, and most run their own database and removal form. One of them, USA People Search, belongs to the same company as PeopleSearchNow; California's registry says an opt-out of sale on one of that company's sites applies to all of them, but it does not say a listing removed on one comes off the others. Check the related-sites list above and the master list to cover the family.
