Checks the people-search sites we track. No account, email, or card. You see the results before you create an account.

The ReversePhone.com opt-out sits on its own site at reversephone.com/svc/optout/search/optouts. The "Opt Out" and "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" links on its FAQ and contact pages both open it. Its Privacy Support FAQ says removing your own record is free and needs no account. For more than one report, or if the form won't work for you, email privacy@reversephone.com.

ReversePhone is a reverse phone lookup: its FAQ says you search a number to see who may own it. Its privacy policy says the site is provided by The Lifetime Value Co. LLC, acting through ReversePhone, LLC.

Checked against ReversePhone's FAQ, Privacy Support FAQ, contact page and privacy policy (last updated October 10, 2025) on October 22, 2026. The opt-out form showed a security check that we did not complete, so we did not see its fields. We read the pages; we did not submit anything.

How to remove yourself from ReversePhone

  1. Go to reversephone.com/svc/optout/search/optouts. The opt-out links on ReversePhone's FAQ and contact pages go to the same address.
  2. Expect a security check first. When we checked on October 22, 2026, one appeared before the form, and we stopped there.
  3. Search for your record and select it. ReversePhone's Privacy Support FAQ describes these steps; we did not see the form's fields ourselves.
  4. Open the verification email ReversePhone sends and click its link.
  5. Keep the confirmation email that follows.

The online tool removes one report. The Privacy Support FAQ says to email privacy@reversephone.com to remove more than one.

Other ways to ask

The privacy policy says you can opt out by email, through the online form, or by phone or mail. These are the details its pages give:

  • Email. privacy@reversephone.com.
  • Phone. 1-855-904-5564.
  • Mail. ReversePhone, MSC - 204908, P.O. Box 105168, Atlanta, GA 30348-5168.
  • Contact form. ReversePhone's contact page has a form with a "Do Not Sell My Info" topic.
  • Chat. The contact page says an AI assistant is available by chat 24 hours a day.

ReversePhone and BeenVerified

California's data broker registry lists reversephone.com on the BeenVerified, LLC entry, along with NumberGuru, NeighborWho, PeopleSmart, PeopleLooker and Ownerly.

  • If you have read that ReversePhone's opt-out link sends you to BeenVerified's form, that is not what we found. On October 22, 2026, ReversePhone's FAQ and contact pages linked to the form on reversephone.com.
  • ReversePhone's pages don't say whether a request there also covers BeenVerified or the other sites. If they list you, file on each one. Our BeenVerified guide and PeopleLooker guide cover theirs.

How long does it take?

The Privacy Support FAQ says an opt-out takes effect the next time ReversePhone's server refreshes, in most cases within 24 hours of the confirmation email. For a verifiable consumer request under the privacy policy, ReversePhone says it will try to answer within 45 days, and up to 90 days if it tells you in writing that it needs more time.

If it doesn't work

  • Use another route. Email privacy@reversephone.com, or use the phone number or mailing address above.
  • Use an authorized agent. The privacy policy says an agent must email privacy@reversephone.com a letter you signed authorizing the request, or a power of attorney under California Probate Code sections 4000 to 4465. The request must include your first, middle (if any) and last name, a valid email address, your age and your address. Checking the agent's authority may add time.
  • California residents. See the California Delete Act guide for the state's own deletion request.

Why your listing can come back

ReversePhone's privacy policy says its search data comes straight from third-party data providers. Its Privacy Support FAQ says a new record from a data partner that can't be matched to the one you opted out may still appear, and to email privacy@reversephone.com to remove it. Look up your number again after a few weeks, and again after you move or change your phone number, and keep your confirmation emails.

ReversePhone isn't one of the people-search sites in Defynta's free scan. The scan looks you up on the sites we track and gives you a direct link to check each one.
