Addresses.com is exactly what it sounds like: a people-search site organized around home addresses. Search a name and it returns addresses, phone numbers, and age; search an address and it tells you who lives there. For anyone worried about being physically located (stalking survivors, public-facing professionals, law enforcement families) address-centric sites like this are the highest-priority removals.

Addresses.com used to have its own opt-out form. On October 16, 2026, addresses.com/optout.php returned the site's "not found" page, and the privacy links in its footer now point to Intelius. The removal path that still works is the free PeopleConnect Suppression Center, the route Intelius uses for its network. PeopleConnect's page does not name Addresses.com, so check the site afterwards.

Checked on October 16, 2026: the old form's address and the Suppression Center's start page. We did not submit anything.

What is Addresses.com?

Addresses.com aggregates public records and commercial data into address-first listings:

  • Current address and address history
  • Names of residents and previous residents
  • Phone numbers
  • Age and relatives
  • Links to fuller background reports via Intelius, which handles its data and privacy operations

Before you start

  • Have an email address you can open. The Suppression Center starts by emailing you a verification link.
  • Have your date of birth and full legal name ready.
  • Note your current and past addresses. The site is keyed on them, so old addresses often carry your name too.

How to remove yourself from Addresses.com

Because Intelius manages Addresses.com's data, a suppression request at suppression.peopleconnect.us is the route. PeopleConnect's page says it covers name searches on Intelius, TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate and US Search; it does not name Addresses.com or ZabaSearch, so check both afterwards. The flow: enter your email and accept the tool's terms, click the verification link in the email, enter your date of birth and full legal name, select the records that match you, set them to "Suppressed," and save. Allow a few days to two weeks, and note that no confirmation email is sent.

PeopleConnect takes these requests from the person on the listing only, not from someone filing for them.

Our full walkthrough of that flow is in the Intelius removal guide.

Verify the removal

After two weeks, search Addresses.com three ways in a private browsing window: your name, your current address, and your previous address. Address-keyed sites frequently keep your name attached to an old address even after the current listing dies, catch that now. Anything remaining means a record wasn't selected: go back to the Suppression Center and suppress it.

Why your listing can come back

Addresses.com re-sources from public records, and address data is among the most frequently refreshed record types (deeds, utilities, voter rolls, change-of-address). Expect a quarterly-ish chance of reappearing and re-check accordingly, or hand it to Defynta's Web Watcher. Silver subscribers can turn on monitoring, which rescans Addresses.com and the other sites we read every 30 days by default and emails you when a listing comes back.

Who runs Addresses.com. California's data broker registry (read October 18, 2026) lists Intelius, LLC with 22 web addresses, including intelius.com, ussearch.com, zabasearch.com, addresses.com, peoplefinder.com (not peoplefinders.com, which Peoplefinders, LLC runs), peoplefind.com, publicrecords.com, reversephonelookup.com, telephonenumberlookups.com, arrestrecordsearch.com, criminalrecords.com, easybackgroundchecks.com and others. TruthFinder and Instant Checkmate are registered as separate companies (TruthFinder, LLC and Instant Checkmate LLC). PeopleConnect's Suppression Center page names only Intelius, TruthFinder, Instant Checkmate and US Search, so check any other of these sites that lists you.

Frequently asked questions

What happened to the Addresses.com opt-out form?

When we checked on October 16, 2026, addresses.com/optout.php showed the site's "not found" page and the footer's privacy links went to Intelius. Use the PeopleConnect Suppression Center instead.

My old house still lists me as a resident. Is that worth removing?

Yes. Old-address listings still expose your name, age, and relatives, and they let someone reconstruct your movement history. Submit a removal for each address-listing that names you.

Why do Addresses.com's privacy links go to Intelius?

Because Intelius runs it: California's data broker registry lists addresses.com among Intelius, LLC's web addresses. PeopleConnect's Suppression Center page does not name Addresses.com, so check it after you file.

Is any of this paid?

No. The Suppression Center is free.
